Job role: Activity Coordinator
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Salary: £23,000

As an Activity Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating vibrant and fulfilling lifestyles for our residents. You`ll have the opportunity to utilize your creativity and organizational skills to plan and facilitate a wide range of activities and events tailored to the interests and preferences of your residents.

**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in organizing and facilitating activities for older adults, preferably in a care setting.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging and inclusive activity programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.

**Responsibilities:**
- Plan, organize, and facilitate a diverse range of activities and events that promote socialization, physical activity, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to develop activity programs that reflect their interests, preferences, and abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident feedback to ensure ongoing program improvement.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where residents feel valued, respected, and empowered to participate in activities.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in recreational therapy and senior care to continuously enhance the quality of our activity programs.
