Brook Street Social Care is offering a new exciting and rewarding role as Area Manager within Residential Care Homes and Nursing Care Homes.

You will be leading a regional portfolio of services across the Somerset area by supporting all clients to reach their maximum potential. You will be Initiating, leading, and driving forward service improvements, system developments, initiatives, quality assurance and overseeing the effective management of services within a specified area.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Promote and lead innovation, piloting, and evaluation of new approaches to delivering high-quality client-facing accommodation and support.
  • Contribute fully as a member of the Senior Operational Management Team to achieve organisational objectives, KPIs and standards , CQC across the designated area.
  • Develop a strong and competent talent pipeline within all services and promote internal progression opportunities by developing staff teams and their capabilities through annual PDRs and Supervision meetings.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have relevant managerial qualification and leading skills (managing other managers)
  • You have a proven knowledge and understanding of the care and support requirements of vulnerable adults.

MUST HAVE:

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Experience of overseeing regional budgets and delivering Value for Money at multi-sites level.
  • Proven experience of leading multiple services and teams through change and instilling a culture of excellence, teamwork, and high performance.
  • Track record in identifying and developing new ways to improve services and deliver service innovation.
