1 on 2 off rolling shift pattern inclusive of sleep allowance

Must have or be working towards NVQ/Diploma Level 3/4 Caring for Children & Young People or equivalent
Must have full UK driving licence.
We provide young people and young adults age 16 to 25 with the support, guidance and encouragement to make the transition to independent adult life a success. Our supported accommodation service is provided entirely according to the needs of each young person, who may be in the process of leaving care, or have already left care. From supported accommodation living to individual placements, from a ratio of 1:1 to 1:4 and round-the-clock support, our supported accommodation provisions can accommodate a range of individual and complex needs.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager for a new 3 bed regulated Supported Accommodation in Halifax.
Salary £13.54 - £14.95 per hour (£26,050.96 - £28,763.80), Night-time Support Allowance - £60.00
(Equates to £33,250.96 - £35,963.80 per annum when working a 1 on 2 off rolling shift pattern inclusive of sleep allowance).
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
The main purpose of the role-
Assist the Management team to ensure all responsibilities are met. You must have experience working within Children's Residential Care or Supported Accommodation.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of all regulations associated with Children & Young People, including but not limited to:
* Ofsted regulations
* Children Act 1989/2004
* Leaving Care Act
* Safeguarding
You also must have or be working towards NVQ/Diploma Level 3/4 Caring for Children & Young People or equivalent and have a full UK driving licence.
