Role: Care Coordinator
Location: Solihull, Birmingham
Salary: up to £27,000

I am actively seeking a care coordinator to join a busy domiciliary care service in the Birmingham area of Shirley & Solihull.

This is a unique opportunity that has a key focus on scheduling care for clients and producing concise rotas. Predominantly office based, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm, with an on call for every one in 3 weekends. You will support and assist care staff and management to deliver the highest quality of care possible.

You will be required to manage enquiries; both face to face and on the phone, liaise and delegate effectively within the staff team, coordinate and maintain client schedules on a monthly, weekly and daily basis and monitor carer hours and punctuality.

Although rare, you will be required, from time to time, to cover client visits and will share responsibility for the on-call phone.

I am looking for applications from candidates who have a significant background within the domiciliary care sector and who can demonstrate excellent rota/scheduling knowledge and experience. You will possess comprehensive CQC knowledge and be competent in working as part of a team, as well as on your own initiative. You`ll be a person with drive and ambition as the organsation would like you to complete your NVQ Level 4 in Heath & Social Care and then go on to complete your NVQ Level 3 & 5 in Leadership & Management. Fully funded.

You will also need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential when applying for the rota coordinator position.
