Job Description
Location: Hesketh Bank, Lancashire
Salary: £24,909 - £27,317 per annum (or pro-rata for part-time roles)
Contract: Full-Time, 39 hours per week (Part-Time roles also available)

About Us:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Childcare Workers to join our team at Hesketh Bank. Our service provides a holistic approach, offering residential care, education, and health support to children and young people in need.
The Role:
As a Childcare Worker, you will be an integral part of a supportive staff team, working on a 24-hour rota, 7 days a week. Your role will involve:
- Providing care in a children's residential home, adhering to Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Delivering trauma-informed care based on psychological formulations.
- Building strong relationships with young people to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Preparing young people for a positive transition into adulthood through relational care.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards it.
- Be committed to supporting vulnerable and traumatised young people.
- Demonstrate good childcare practices and understand the needs of children and young people.
- Handle emotional and physical conflict and respond appropriately to crises.
- Understand child development, attachment, and the impact of trauma.
