Job Description
Job title: Deputy Manager
Location: Leicestershire
Contract: Fixed Term Contract 6 Months Full Time
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 40hours a week
Pay: TBC
My client is a registered CQC Health & Social care provider, providing support to service users with learning disabilities, complex needs, autism & mental health needs.
Role Overview
-To manage the company expectations following the policy and procedures.
-Support the Registered Manager on the running of the service on a day-to-day basis.
-Supporting all members of the staff and making sure they are all up to date with day-to-day activities.
-Providing the best quality of care to Service Users and ensuring their needs are being met.
-Under taking risk assessments providing a safe and comfortable environment for both staff and service users.
-Carrying out any investigations for any accidents or complaints reported ensuring this is completed and delt with effectively and appropriately.
-Always promoting and encouraging all staff the best quality of service to all service users, making use of all the resources available.
Individual specification:
-NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social care services or equivalent qualification (Desirable).
-Proven experience of working with people with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health problems.
-Demonstrating the ability to motivate staff to succeed and be and effective team player.
-Must be resilient, innovative and forward thinking.
-Communicate effectively with staff members, outside agencies and clients.
-Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, DOLS, Safeguarding and CQC regulations.
-Full Driving license and own vehicle required.
-2 years of experience as a Deputy Manager and or leadership skills through previous employment.
-Experience in working with clients with Mental Health and Challenging Behaviours.
