Job Description


Position: Deputy Manager - 6 month fixed term contract


Location: Leicester

Sector: Adult Services for Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Complex Needs

Salary: £28000 pro rata (£14000 for 6 months)

*** DBS on the update service and minimal notice desirable***

Their commitment to person-centred care and innovation sets them apart, and they are now seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Deputy Manager on a 6 month maternity cover basis.

Key Responsibilities:


As Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support services, working in collaboration with a strong and established registered manager. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the registered manager to oversee daily operations.
- Providing leadership and guidance to a dedicated team of support staff.
- Conducting assessments and developing personalised care plans.
- Advocating for the rights and well-being of service users.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.

Qualifications and Experience:


- Proven experience in a similar role, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs (this could be within supported living or residential care settings)
- Relevant qualification in health and social care. You will have a minimum of the level 3 in health and social care and be committed to securing a level 5 in leadership and management.
- Strong knowledge of learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
