Job Description

Job Title: Children's Deputy Manager
Location: Shropshire
Salary: Up to £40,000 including sleeps

I am seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Deputy Manager to join our team. The Deputy Manager will play a key role in supporting the overall management of our residential service. This individual will work closely with the Manager to ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and development for the children in our care.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, program planning, and administrative tasks.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the staff team, promoting a positive and inclusive working environment.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, maintaining high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding.
Act as a point of contact for parents and guardians, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on their child's progress.
Contribute to the development and implementation of age-appropriate activities and learning experiences that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and participate in recruitment efforts when necessary.
Assist in maintaining accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and children's developmental assessments.


Qualifications:
To be successful within this role you should have at least 3 years' experience in a team leading role. Hold your QCF Level 3 in Childrens Services and be driver. You should also have flexibility to work sleep in shifts.


For your hard work and commitment, you will be paid a salary of up to £40,000, have the opportunity to complete your NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management, have a fantastic holiday package that includes 7 weeks annual leave and independent pension package.
