Responsibilities/Summary of Role
- Lead with Purpose: Provide direct day-to-day management of one service (or a group of small services), ensuring smooth operations and exceptional care.
- Empower Your Team: Organise staff rota and activities, foster skill development through training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Hands-On Impact: Spend at least 50% of your working hours delivering care and support services, focusing on complex assessments, care plan reviews, and customer-related meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Putting Customers First
- Customer Empowerment: Uphold the rights of customers to be involved in decision-making. Hold minuted monthly service user meetings.
- Tailored Services: Ensure services are planned and delivered to meet customer needs. Consult with customers on support planning, recruiting, and staff appraisals.
- Active Participation: Support customers to attend forums and focus groups.
- Total hours: 38 hours per week
- Salary: £31,052 per annum
