Extra Care Manager
Northfield, Birmingham
Leading provider
Salary: Circa £35000

Are you a compassionate and experienced leader with a passion for delivering exceptional support for older and vulnerable adults? I am looking for an Extra Care Manager to join an esteemed extra care scheme in Birmingham.

Your New Organisation:
You will join a leading provider of extra care and social housing services, committed to enhancing the quality of life for older adults and individuals with varying needs. The Birmingham scheme is renowned for its warm, supportive environment where residents are treated with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the extra care service.
- Ensure the highest standards are maintained, in line with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Oversee all elements of health and safety
- Manage and maintain internal auditing, safeguarding and budgets
- Support, mentor, and motivate a dedicated team
- Work closely with external care agencies and attend frequent meetings with key providers
- Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
- Continuously assess and improve service delivery.

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar managerial role within social housing or CQC sector
- Demonstrable experience supporting older and vulnerable adults
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of care regulations and best practices, including up to date social housing requirements.
- Passionate about securing positive outcomes for the people who reside here.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
