BS Social Care currently working with one of the UK`s leading family assessment centres. Based in the West Midlands, they work together with the local authority and social services to ensure families stay and work together during vulnerable times.

They are currently looking for FAMILY SUPPORT WORKERS that have the drive to go above and beyond with a focus to keep families together. You will need to be flexible, no two days are the same and shifts start from 7am till 10pm. You will need to have great communication skills and be understanding to vulnerable children and their families. You will also have fantastic listening and communication skills both verbally and written.

Your job role will include;

- Day to day observation and assessment of the childs needs and welfare
- Create a supportive learning environment
- Provide childcare whilst parents/carers are attending group sessions
- Take the lead and encourage parents/carers in playtime, bath time and social interaction with baby

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking to get into family support or key work. Ideally you will have experience within childrens services but a kind and caring nature with the drive to succes is also a key requirement. You will also get the opportunity to complete your QCF Level 3 in Childrens Services.
