Job Description

Brook Street Social Care are representing a national housing association who support adults from an ex-offending background in relation to avoiding homelessness. The client are seeking two full time floating support workers on a temporary basis of 3 months that could go permanent for the right person.

You will be managing case loads, managing benefit and tenancies, processing referrals, signposting and engaging with the service users around the St. Helens area. A car driver is preferred but not essential. Mileage is also paid for the usage of a vehicle.

To work with us, you will need:

  • 6 months paid, hands-on experience or recently undertaken training
  • To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the services users
  • Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Desirable: DBS on the update service
