General Assistant / Support Worker - Bristol
Location: Bristol Job Type: Full-time | Part-time
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate General Assistant / Support Worker to provide essential care and support to residents in Bristol. This role is vital in maintaining a welcoming and comfortable environment while assisting with daily tasks.

About the Role:


As a General Assistant / Support Worker, you will work across multiple departments, supporting residents with their daily needs and ensuring the home is maintained to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Carrying out housekeeping duties to keep the home tidy and clean

  • Providing an efficient and effective laundry service for residents

  • Supporting mealtimes, assisting residents as required

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a happy and caring atmosphere


Whether you are dusting a resident's room and reminiscing with them, preparing vegetables for a curry night, or ironing a resident's favourite pair of trousers, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.

Requirements:


Essential:


  • A compassionate and caring nature

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems

Desirable:


  • Previous experience in care or support work
