Head of Respite and Care

37 hours a week

Hybrid Working

£45,000 - £50,00 per annum

Brook Street Social Care are working with a leading charity committed to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families through their Respite & Care services. As the Head of Respite and Care, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with commissioners and funders, while expanding the team of dedicated colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include the below however not limited to this as new opportunities and challenges may arise;

• Develop and implement strategies to increase the number of individuals benefiting from the Respite & Care services.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the sector.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with existing and potential commissioners and funders.
• Expand the team, including both paid staff and volunteers, to enhance the capacity to deliver care and support.
• Oversee the team's performance, ensuring a high standard of quality and care is provided.
• Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• QCF level 5 in leadership and management of health and social care or equivalent
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the healthcare or charity sector.
• Strong track record in developing and maintaining partnerships with commissioners and funders.
• Excellent organisational and managerial skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and collaborative working.
• Familiarity with respite and care services is highly desirable.
