Location: Buxton, covering High Peak, and Leek (Staffordshire & Moorlands)
Hours: 21 hours
Contract: Temporary
Length of Contract: 22 weeks
Hourly Pay: £12.31
Essential - you will not be considered for this position should you not hold a UK Driving Licence

I am looking for a Homeless Outreach Worker who has a background in supporting adults who are homeless and living on the streets, or at risk of becoming homeless, and I want to hear from YOU today!

I am working with a fantastic client who specialise in delivering homes, services, and innovation for some of the most disadvantaged communities across the country. They aim to provide the very best service, and they would love your help in continuing that process.

Overview of the Role
I am looking for a part-time Homeless Inreach Worker, to support service users that are out on the streets, sofa surfing, or rough sleeping. You will work with those vulnerable people who may have; recently moved into permanent accommodation, may be in temporary accommodation, or could still be sleeping rough. You will provide intensive, wrap around support to address their accommodation needs as well as any other areas due to their complex, entrenched nature. You will build trust and support service users to navigate them through pathways and progress towards a life away from the streets and homelessness. You will be a great communicator, building strong relationships with external agencies in order to reduce the number of people returning to the streets and supporting them to access relevant services to address their needs. Delivering person centred support to service users, enabling them to secure suitable accommodation and to meet their immediate needs, enabling them to live a more sustainable and fulfilling life.

Interview Process
These stages have been put in place to help benefit and streamline the process of recruitment.

1st Stage - Shortlisting & Pre-Screening
In the first stage I will review your CV. Should you be successful, I will invite you for a telephone call. We will have a telephone conversation to discuss your right to work, work history, and suitability for the role.

2nd Stage - Formal Interview
In this stage, you will go have a formal interview with the hiring manager.
