Team Manager- Learning disabilities
Permanent
Kendal, Lancashire
Salary £22,859 -28 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to lead a Supported Living service in Kendal, Lancashire, with a well established charity dedicated to fostering Independence in communities.

About Us: Join our mission-driven team committed to empowering vulnerable individuals to live and work independently. We are seeking a dynamic Team Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service delivery.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Support Workers for adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Implement support plans, manage schedules, and conduct risk assessments.
  • Handle budgeting and financial tasks.
  • Ensure compliance and safe service delivery through team collaboration

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience managing similar services and working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Flexibility to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Positive, solution-oriented mindset with innovative approaches.
  • Ideally holds a Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management or is willing to pursue it.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel as needed.
  • Proficient in IT tools and applications.
