Night's Life Coach
Location: Redditch
Hours: 35 Hours
Shift Pattern: 10pm-8am, 4 on, 4 off
Salary: £19,474

I am looking for a Night's Life Coach who has a background in supporting adults or young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, and I want to hear from YOU today!

I am in partnership and collaborating with a fantastic national client who are a registered care and support charity, who specialise in delivering homes, services, and innovation for the most disadvantaged communities in the country and provide support to vulnerable adults. They aim to provide the very best service, and they would love YOUR help to continue that vision.

Salary and Benefits

Overview of the Role
I am looking for a Night's Life Coach to support young people during the evenings and early mornings. You will be lone working during these hours, and you will manage the building to make sure that safety & well-being checks are done, and to make sure that the young people are kept safe at all times. You will encourage positive behaviour, rather than anti-social and challenging behaviour, and you will be there to help and advise the young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure the safety of the building, service users and visitors
  • To manage behaviour and ensure the project remains peaceful
  • To develop an in-depth understanding of childhood trauma and its impact on mental wellbeing
  • To deliver appropriate information, intervention, advice, guidance and support to individuals and/or groups
  • To ensure that young adults' individual views, aspirations and needs are heard, respected and actioned
  • To support the assessment of each young adult and engage in supporting them to recognise their support needs and goals in the areas of accommodation, health & well-being, employment, education and training
  • To help identify underlying causes to challenging behaviour and other health needs and provide information, advice, guidance and support as appropriate to engage with specialist services
  • To utilise a variety of situations, processes and 'media' to take advantage of all interactions with young adults in actively promoting their development

Interview Process
1st Stage - Shortlisting & Pre-Screening

In this stage I will review your CV, and then invite you for a telephone conversation, where will discuss your right to work, work history, suitability for the role, and any questions you may have.

2nd Stage - Formal Interview

In this stage, you will have a formal interview with the hiring manager.

If successful, you will be required to have a DBS on the update service, eligibility of right to work, and your start date will be subject to sufficient references.
