Job Description

I am seeking a dedicated Nursery Room Manager to lead a welcoming, established team and contribute to the development of the little ones who attend a stunning, Daventry based service.

Position: Nursery Room Manager
Location: Daventry, UK
Salary: £26,000 to £28,000

You will join a provider who believes in providing a warm, safe, and enriching environment where children can thrive. The team is committed to fostering each child`s individuality and supporting their early development through play-based learning and meaningful interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursery room, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high standards of care.
- Lead and motivate a team of dedicated early years practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure each child receives personalized attention.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum to promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers, fostering open communication and collaboration to support children`s holistic development.
- Conduct regular observations and assessments to track children`s progress and identify areas for growth, working closely with the team to implement targeted interventions.

Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (Level 4 or above preferred).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery or early years setting.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to working with children and families.
