Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Residential Worker across 2 sites - one family centre and young adults residential home. This is an exciting role for someone, who is looking for a varied role, which will require flexible approach.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of £2400-£25800.


We have opportunities to join our Peripatetic Team within 2 different services, this team will be integral to provide additional support across all of our Young Adults residential house to meet the needs of our young people and service demands. You will need to have a flexible approach to work across all of our family and young adults service as required to support service delivery.


You will support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in undertaking tasks to ensure the smooth running of the home. This will include preparing, recording, monitoring, and reviewing documentation. You will be responsible for taking a lead in all aspects of caring and supporting the young people and families.

As a Senior Residential Worker, you will be part of the management team and facilitate supervision with Residential staff. You will be expected to lead and manage shifts and be responsible for decision making whilst on shift.

You will adopt a positive aspirations approach to improve and develop the Residential Service to achieve its vision of providing high quality care and support to children, young people and their families.


We are seeking candidates who have experience of working in any social care setting. As a Residential Worker, you should possess good oral and written skills, as well demonstrate the ability and experience of effective report writing and recording.


Any professional qualification are desirable but not essential.


The role will involve working a range of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and sleep in duties. The nature of shift patterns enables a level of flexibility for employees.
