Job Description
We have an exciting new job opportunity for a Receptionist to join one of our Government clients in St Albans, Hertfordshire. This is a full-time temporary role for an ongoing 3 months with a view to extend the contract further. The responsibilities of the role will include:
" Required to cover a reception desk
" Greet visitors, log their arrival and departure, ensure the appropriate member of staff is notified and issue visitor passes and security fobs as necessary
" Answering the phone, dealing with queries, and referring on when unable to resolve
" The office will soon have 3 late nights, and these are done on a rota basis. Office will be open until 8:30pm, some days may start at 8:30am and finish at 5, some days may start at 11/12 and finish at 7/8:30
" To deal with all mail items, incoming, outgoing, and internal
" Scanning and uploading documents onto their relevant approved databases
" Facilities management
" Cash handling
Skills and Experience required
" Delivering at pace
" Strong communication skills both verbally and written is essential
" Use and work on your own initiative
" Need to have good IT skills including proficiency using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Teams etc. especially Excel
" Good Customer Service skills
" Reception experience desirable
" Admin Experience required
Salary: £9.69 with benefits of pension scheme and holiday.
The hours are working 9-5 Monday - Friday
