Refuge Support Worker

35 Hours a week

Are you passionate about making a difference? The charity we are supporting provides expert, specialist, independent support to women and children who have experienced domestic and sexual violence/abuse. They offer individually tailored support packages, group work, advocacy, and prevention work throughout the community.

The role involves providing 24/7 support at an intake and assessment property, preparing rooms, welcoming and inducting new clients, and completing housing benefit forms. Responsibilities also include conducting regular health and safety checks, supporting clients with diverse needs, and advocating for service users with relevant agencies. The goal is to empower clients by helping them recognise and address domestic abuse, supporting them throughout their journey.
