Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of refugees?

In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital role in supporting refugee families who have fled war and persecution. You'll empower them to rebuild their lives in the UK by providing tailored support in areas like:

• Healthcare
• Education
• Housing
• Benefits
• Employment

You'll be the go-to person for your assigned families, helping them navigate the complexities of settling in a new country. You'll also run drop-in sessions across South Gloucestershire, offering guidance and support to a wider group of refugees.

We're looking for someone with a big heart and a commitment to social justice. If you have:

• A deep understanding of the challenges faced by refugees, particularly those who have experienced trauma
• Experience working with interpreters and overcoming language barriers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build trust and rapport with people from diverse backgrounds
• A passion for empowering others

A valid UK driving license with business insurance is essential. While not mandatory, fluency in Arabic or Dari/Pashto would be a huge advantage.
