Brook Street Social Care is offering a new exciting and rewarding role as a CQC Registered Manager within a Residential Care Home in Colyton, Devon.
You will be on charge for the day-to-day management and providing compassionate and person-centred care to the vulnerable community.

We are looking for a business-focused, enthusiastic, and professional manager to ensure that quality is always at the forefront of the branch's ethos.
The Role is Monday to Friday 9 - 18:00 pm however, it is important that applicants understand that they may be required to work outside of these hours where required for the needs of the business and to support the staff team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Motivation, recruitment, and retention of staff
  • Supervisions and Appraisals
  • Care Plans, Assessments, and Reviews
  • Compliance
  • Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of Local Authority Procedures and Safeguarding
  • Participation in the on-call rota when needed.
  • CQC

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have a knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards of the service, including the need for the management and delivery of person-centred service.
  • You can effectively manage the performance of others
  • Great communication skills
  • You are excellent at building relationship with external.
  • You are HIGHLY MOTIVATED, ORGANISED and RESOURCFUL.

MUST HAVE:

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Having Level 5 NVQ Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • Knowledge of and previous management experience within a Residential Care Home setting is essential.
