A brand new Childrens residential provision within Twickenham - This is an opportunity to be a part of the shaping of a service, from day one, in a newly renovated and spacious modern property, which is finished to the highest possible standard.

We`re looking to recruit passionate, dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in our society who`ve experienced neglect, abuse and trauma.
As a result of these early life experiences, the young people that we will care for may, at times, display challenging behaviours. You will need to be resilient and dedicated enough manage such behaviours while continuing to provide unconditional care, advice and support.

The Registered Manager is accountable for delivering high quality care to the children and young people resident within the home. This means that they are responsible for delivery of all care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home, and all day-to-day management matters. They will demonstrate the ability to build on the well-established principles, practice standards existing within Horizon Therapeutic Care Services Limited, and proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of childcare standards across the company.

As a Registered Manager, you must have the Level 3 Diploma in Children`s Residential Care and have the Level 5 Diploma in Children`s Residential Care or be working towards it. Possessing a recognised Social Work qualification is also desirable.
A full UK driving license is essential for the role.
Requirements for DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulation and safer recruitment best practice
Conditions of Service

o The post is subject to a six months probationary period.
o Annual leave is 28 days per Annum, with additional days following years of service.
o Pension - We will observe our obligations under auto enrolment.
o A mobile phone is available.
o Mileage at an agreed rate is payable for business purposes.
o The post is subject to three months` notice on either side, other than for disciplinary or malpractice issues.
o Ofsted Fit Person Interview, registration in accordance with their respective conditions and timescales, will need approve the successful candidate.

Home Managers will need to be flexible in terms of their specific location. The post exists, in the first instance, with the company


£35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience. Extra benefits to be discussed with management.
