Job: Children's Registered Manager

Contract: Permanent

Location: Lincolnshire

Hours: Full time

Pay: £38,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience) with on call allowance and achievable bonus

Job Role: Children's Registered Manager

I am actively recruiting for a registered manager to join a reputable, compassionate and person centred children's provider in the Lincolnshire region. My client is a dedicated provider of residential care services for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and complex care needs. They have been established for over 10 years and are continuously growing. The primary focus is on trauma-informed, therapeutic services, aiming to provide stability, develop resilience, and facilitate smooth transitions for children and young people.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the processing and response to all local authority referrals.
  • Actively participate in the development, assessment, and execution of care plans and risk assessments for young individuals.
  • Arrange admissions of suitable young people to the Home at any time, including weekends and evenings.
  • Allocate a keyworker to each young person.
  • Ensure that all young people's plans are in place and of good quality.
  • Uphold and promote residential care work to the elevated standards of professionalism expected by the company and Ofsted.
  • Attend to the emotional and physical needs of our young individuals, including covering staff absence.
  • Collaborate with families and others involved with the young people.
  • Be responsible for the budget and finance, ensuring it operates to agreed financial targets.
  • Provide training, qualification, and a probationary period for new staff before they engage in unsupervised work.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People, (funding and support will be available for applicants who need to secure NVQ Level 5)
  • Previous significant experience is essential within a supervisory role within Children Residential Settings.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Possession of a driver's license with own car.
  • Flexibility in participating in the On-Call rota.
