Job Description

Registered Manager - established supported living setting - Recognised provider

Location: Rugby

Salary: Up to £35000 D.O.E

In collaboration with a leading provider, I am seeking a passionate and person centred Registered manager to join their good rated supported living service in Warwickshire.

You will provide direct day to day leadership to a team consisting of a Deputy Manager, Team Leader, Senior Support Workers and Support Workers. You will coach the team to grow and develop, whilst promoting the supported living service in line with the company's vision, business aims and objectives.

You will report directly to the Operations Manager and be involved with all aspects of service management, including recruitment, assessments, support planning and quality compliance.

With full operational responsibility, you will:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the shift whilst ensuring individuals` needs, choices and dignity are central to everything you do.
  • Work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all records, both electronic and manual are kept up to date.
  • Carry out regular supervision and support of staff, including managing their attendance at work.
  • Support the operations manager with CQC inspections and anything else that they may need you to do.

To be successful within this role you must have:

  • Previous experience of managing a supported living service at a Registered Manager/ Manager level, or an experienced Deputy Manager wishing to take the next step in their career
  • Have previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, ASD, mental health issues and / or additional needs
  • Be able to work flexibly as this role will include some shift work, weekends, evenings and holidays when required
  • The level 5 Diploma/NVQ Health & Social Care/Management or equivalent (or prepared to work towards)
  • Have commitment to continuous professional development
