Title: Registered Homes Manager - Children's Services Leadership Opportunity

Salary: £44,428 - £48,474 plus allowance

Position: Registered Homes Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of a Children's Home/Short-Breaks Provision/Long-Breaks Provision/Edge of Care, ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and the County Council's standards.
- Lead the development and implementation of services that prioritise the needs and aspirations of young people and families.
- Support strategic planning and collaborate with senior management to achieve organisational objectives.
- Provide effective leadership and promote a culture of teamwork and professional development.
- Oversee regulatory inspections and audits, including Ofsted and Regulation 44, ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
- Manage staff resources, including recruitment, induction, supervision, and performance development reviews.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with young people, families, professionals, and external agencies.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience managing services for young people, preferably in a residential environment.
- Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and experience with regulatory inspections.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and participate in out-of-hours management rota.
