Job Description

Job Title: Children's Registered Manager
Location: Shopshire
Salary: up to 50k


I am currently supporting the recruitment of a leading provider of childcare services dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. They are committed to promoting the physical, emotional, and social development of every child under our care.

Position Overview:
As a Children's Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of the children's residential care facility. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the welfare and well-being of the children in our care, maintaining high standards of care, and overseeing a team of dedicated childcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership, guidance, and direction to a team of care staff, ensuring they adhere to the highest standards of care and professional conduct.


Conduct regular team meetings, supervision sessions, and performance appraisals to support staff development and performance improvement.


Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing children's residential care services, including Ofsted requirements.


Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including individual care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
Implement robust safeguarding procedures to protect the welfare of children in their care, including reporting and managing any safeguarding concerns or incidents.


Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to enhance service delivery.


Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.


Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.


Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders.


Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities, particularly in challenging situations.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.


Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.


For your hard work and commitment, you will be paid a salary of up to £50,000, have the opportunity to up skill yourself with your Level 7 in Leadership & Management and develop into a regional manager.
