Registered Manager, Children's Home
up to £74,709 package per annum
Westbury Wiltshire


We are working with a trusted Client who is seeking a value driven, team player to be the Registered Manager for 8 bedded Children`s Home for young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs. The service is holistic and works with every aspect of young person`s needs working alongside Psychologists, OTs and other clinical team members to ensure the best outcomes for the Children helping them to recover and reach their full potential.

As the Registered Manager you will be taking responsibility and maintaining exceptionally high standards for the management of the home where the Children live. As a Registered Manager you will make sure that the home environment can support this by ensuring both your staff and the young people feel secure, safe and motivated. There will be challenges along the way but there will also be the smallest moments which feel like a `huge victory`.

The Registered Manager provides leadership, direction, and support to the team. The Registered Manager will be experience within Children`s Services and will demonstrate managing teams in Residential setting for at least two years and have or be willing to work towards L5 Diploma or equivalent.

  • Salary: Base salary of £52,093 - £64,827
  • Bonuses: Bonus of 10% of salary reviewed annually, £2,500 on call bonus (approx. 10 weekends per year) and Attendance allowance £1,400, £1,000 Welcome Bonus - on successful completion of probation & £1,000 Loyalty Bonus (after 12 months of employment)
  • You also receive a long-term incentive plan - a bonus of 30% of salary accrued each year and paid as a future lump sum

What you need

  • Experience managing an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding children`s home
  • A committed and enthusiastic leader with a passion to make a difference
  • Level 5 Diploma qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
  • A full UK driving licence which you`ve held for at least 12 months
