We are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager position on behalf of a leading provider of residential child care. Our client has over 21 years of experience in offering exceptional support to vulnerable young people across North England and Scotland.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead a small cluster of residential homes in the St. Helens area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic organisation committed to providing high-quality care services and making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential homes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide leadership and support to care professionals, promoting a nurturing and therapeutic environment for residents.
  • Collaborate with senior management and external stakeholders to enhance the quality of care and support services.
  • Implement innovative strategies to drive continuous improvement and achieve positive outcomes for residents.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 4 Children and Young People Practitioner Qualification (England) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' recent experience in residential child care, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in IT and a valid UK driver's license.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Qualification or working towards Care Services Leadership and Management.
  • Knowledge of Therapeutic Parenting.
