Exciting SENCo Opportunity - Make a Difference in SEND Education!
Location: Rural Somerset
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, term time only.
Salary: £30,000 - £42,131depending on experience and qualifications

Are you an experienced and passionate SENCo looking for a rewarding role where you can truly make a difference? We are seeking a dedicated, forward-thinking, and compassionate SENCo to lead and enhance SEND provision in a specialist educational setting for students aged 5-18 with ASD, ASC, SEMH, and associated needs.

Your Role:
- Delivering High-Quality SEND Provision - Ensure effective SEND support that enables students to thrive.
- Driving Effective Teaching & Interventions - Implement quality-first teaching and refine intervention strategies.
- Data-Driven Decision Making - Use student data to inform planning and monitor progress.
- Building Strong Relationships - Collaborate with students, staff, parents, and external agencies.
- Embedding a Positive Ethos - Promote an inclusive, aspirational learning culture.
What We're Looking For:
- A strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
- Experience in leading and coordinating SEND provision
- A passion for inclusive education and supporting students with complex needs
- The ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
This role is subject to the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018, and all successful applicants will undergo a fully Enhanced DBS check.
