Job Description
Position: Senior Support Worker
Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week - Flexible)
Salary: £14 per hour, Annual Leave: 28 days
Annual Salary: £29,120.00

About: Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join their team. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for career progression within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years of prior experience working with older children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in a residential setting.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Senior Support Worker.
- Computer literate with strong report-writing skills.
Qualifications: All necessary training and qualifications will be provided upon hiring. The Senior Residential Worker role combines support work with team management, offering a unique career progression opportunity for individuals keen on developing their knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Management:
- Supervise and support staff, encouraging the highest standards of care.
- Assist in team training, induction of new employees, and provide constructive feedback.
2. Standards and Administration:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local authority, and Ofsted standards.
- Oversee documentation, including risk assessments, care plans, and financial records.
3. General Residential Worker Responsibilities:
- Provide care and control for children, maintaining a positive environment.
- Organize and supervise recreational and leisure activities.
- Contribute to assessments, planning, and review meetings.
- Adhere to company policies, including safeguarding and health and safety.
Senior Residential Worker Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to Residential Workers.
- Supervise designated workers and record progress.
- Offer advice on training needs and opportunities.
- Address issues or concerns with management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma Level 3 for children and young people.
- Maintain professional conduct and code of conduct.
