Service Manager Opportunity - Supported Housing, Exeter

Salary: £31.400/annual

Full time, Permanent position


Brook Street Social Care is supporting a client on finding their new Service Manager (Supported Living facility) based in Exeter. You will be delivering high level support to those who would be in risk of homeless without support from the organisation. The role will involve managing a caseload of clients across properties and engaging with vulnerable adults with complex needs.

About the role:

  • Support service user to stay safe, to help them claim benefits and budgeting.
  • Provide planning, leadership, and direction, meeting statutory and organisations quality standards.
  • Enable service users to co-produce and engage with our high-quality person-centred services, where a strength based, and trauma-informed approach is taken.
  • Any other tasks and activities that reasonably related to managing the properties and supporting the service users.
  • Work alongside Property Manager to carry out basic property inspections and health & safety checks.
  • Undertake visits, ensuring all properties and service users are visited in-person weekly.
  • Ensuring performance organisations objectives, quality standards and contractual obligations are met through.

  • You are organised, and passionate about helping people.
  • Resilient and able to deal with people who are complex and may exhibit organisations that may challenge.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Able to work on your own-good time management.
  • Experience in the supported housing sector.
  • Willingness to work flexibly with shifts between 8AM and 8PM.
