Job Description

Job title: Experienced Housing Support Worker
Location: Birmingham
Pay rate: TBC
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 09:30 - 16:30
Contract Type: Temporary

Are you a dedicated and compassionate support worker with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable individuals?? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

My Client committed to providing the highest quality care and support for vulnerable adults. As an Experienced Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life supporting them with their day to day.

Role: Experienced Housing Support Work
-Working on a case load of residents providing 1.5 hours of tailored support to each individual
-Plan individual support plans specifically to each individual residents accordingly to their needs and risks
-Assist residences to adhering to their responsibilities to license agreements to any specific rule to their stay
-Promote and support a balanced household environment supporting with any situations that may arise
- Dealing with complex individual problems and helping residents to solve them
- Following Risk Assessments and Management Procedures
- Keeping log of all contact with residential
- Being the first point of call to your resident
- Housing and room checks of any risks
- Reporting to management team
- Competent with IT systems and using a smart phone

What we`ll need from you:
- Housing experience supporting tenancy agreements
- Supporting individual's facing homelessness
- Helping vulnerable individuals engage in their planned activities around their homes with day to day
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Must be very confident with the use of and learning new IT systems
- Commitment to undertake necessary further training
- A genuine desire to help people with a compassionate nature
- A minimum of 1 year`s relevant experience supporting in care
- Must have UK driving License
- Safeguarding Adults training in the last month's
- Adult workforce DBS - update service
- Willing to travel around and out of Birmingham
