Salary: £20,592

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a high level of energy and enthusiasm. As a support worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting independence and enhancing their overall quality of life.


Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to individuals with learning disabilities in various settings, including homes, community centres, and educational institutions.
- Foster a positive and empowering environment to encourage independence and skill development.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Take a proactive approach to identify and address the unique needs and challenges of each individual.
- Develop and implement personalised care plans, adapting strategies to support clients` evolving requirements.
- Encourage and participate in activities that promote socialisation, skill-building, and community engagement.
- Maintain open and effective communication with clients, their families, and other support team members.


To be considered for this role you must be a driver with experience within the learning disabilities and Mental Health sector.

For your hard work and commitment, you will be paid £20,592, have 28 days annual leave and get the opportunity to complete any NVQ that you would like to, completely fully funded!!!
