Do you have experience as a Support Worker helping people with learning disabilities?
If so, we have exciting opportunities for you!


Client is based within a residential setting with the aim of helping service members becoming independent again.

You will be supporting, advising and helping young adults with learning disabilities. Your main aim is to help these young people to build and develop independent living skills. In doing so you will be helping with shopping, budgeting, meal planning, completion of forms as well as engaging service users in social and community based activities.

If you have over a years experience working in a care setting and NVQ 2+ qualifications in health and social care it is preferable however not a requirement.
Minimum of 6 months experience working within a similar role.
Ideally have NVQ level 2 in health and social care or other similar qualifications. As well as level 2 in maths and English, GCSE grade C or above or equivalent is also preferred.

You can be expecting a pay rate of £9.50

The role will be offered to you on a temporary basis, so your flexibility and availability is crucial. Availability for you to do occasional waking nights will also be required.
