Support Worker - Permanent Job - 36 hours per week - Darlington - Full Time - £20,056.44 + Benefits


We are working for a local organisation who is looking for a support worker with a proven working background within Learning Disabilities.



You will be engaging, supportive and encouraging with the vulnerable adults to encourage independence working with them and their support plans to encourage independent living.

The vulnerable adults have a variety of learning disabilities however are semi independent and won't require personal care.

You will be working for a step down service where you will manage a maximum of 10 caseloads. You will need to meet with the vulnerable people once a week to support them with any tasks/activities such as budgeting, job applications, cooking, cleaning, benefits, housing applications, support plans etc…


You will have a proven background of working with this type of vulnerable group and managing caseloads.

This role is a full time permanent role and the hours of work will be on a 6 week rolling basis throughout the year of 8am-4pm and 3:30pm- 10pm shifts.
