Job Description
Supported Living Service Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time (with a minimum of one day per week providing direct support)
Driving Licence: Full UK licence required
Are you an experienced leader in adult social care with a passion for supporting people with complex needs? We're working with a respected care provider to recruit a Supported Living Service Manager for an intensive support setting in Birmingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to lead a dedicated team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge.
Your Role:
- Lead, support, and develop a team of committed Support Workers
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice for the people you support
- Work collaboratively with the Registered Area Manager to maintain smooth service operations
- Provide direct, hands-on support at least one day per week
- Maintain accurate records and use digital systems effectively
- Champion best practices and uphold safety, wellbeing, and satisfaction for all individuals in your care
What We're Looking For:
- Experience supporting adults with complex learning disabilities
- Strong understanding of Autism and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or willingness to complete within 18 months)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills
- Flexible and proactive approach to working hours, including participation in a rota
