Teaching Assistant
Salary: £18,993 - £21,500 (pro-rata)
After probation: £29,000
Location: Meriden, Solihull - Across 2 sites
Hours & Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Term Time Only

What's in it for YOU?
For your hard work and commitment, during your probationary period, you will be paid a salary between £18,993 - £21,500, and following on from passing your probation, your salary will be increased to £29,000! Overview of the Role
I am looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide person centred support to 5-19-year-olds, supporting their curriculum learning, and their emotional learning. Your day will start at 8am, preparing for the day, and then when children arrive around 9:30 you will get feedback from parents and go through their daily plans. The staff team will deliver lessons, including you teaching phonics, and in the afternoon will be enriching activities such as swimming and PE! Students will then leave at 3:30pm, and for the remaining time during the day, you will reflect on your day and prepare for the next day!

Required Skills, Experience, & Knowledge
Care experience (6 months minimum - this DOESN'T need to be in children's services)
Driving Licence - you will not be considered for this position should you not hold a driving licence
Good written and verbal English communication skills

Is your current role related?
Have you worked with Children, young adults, or older adults in a social care and supporting capacity? Have you always wanted to work with children and young people? Luckily for you, if you can DRIVE, and have worked in SOCIAL CARE for at least 6 months, you will be suitable

Interview Process & Timelines
1st Stage - Shortlisting & Pre-Screening
In this stage I will review your CV. Should you be successful, I will invite you for a telephone conversation, where will discuss your right to work, work history, suitability for the role, and any questions you may have.

2nd Stage - Formal Interview

In this stage, you will have a formal interview with the hiring manager, which you will be well prepared for.

If successful, you will be required to have a current DBS on the update service, eligibility of right to work, and your start date will be subject to sufficient references.
