Job Description

Do you love working with young adults?

Do you need a job which is flexible, provides a great work life balance and works around your other commitments?

Are you excited by the idea of new challenges and learning new skills?

If so, then here at BS Social Care we have a fantastic work opportunity for you!

We currently have lots of work at a residential college providing further education and training for young people aged 18-25 with learning difficulties and disabilities. This college provides a safe learning environment set within 180 acres of farmland. As well as learning crafts in workshops and retail in our on-site shop, there are land-based opportunities on our working farm, garden and forestry. The college is designed to enable the learner to move from doing to understanding and from experience to knowing. The successful candidate will be dedicated to providing high quality support and will have the ability to tailor the services offered, to a patient's particular needs. Your role here will be to help each individual develop the self-confidence to cope with adult responsibility and be able to lead a richer, more independent life.

We have a variety of shifts available including waking night shifts, sleep ins, long and short day shifts, week day and weekend shifts.

If this role sounds interesting, but not quite suitable for you, then we also have other roles available in supported living settings, homeless projects, children residential homes and nursing homes - to name but a few!

From us you can expect a competitive rate of pay, holiday pay and National Insurance contributions. You will also have a dedicated team of consultants who will be on call to help you with any needs you might have!

If you would like to apply to this role, if you require further information, then please either contact 02920 224 755 and ask for Mollie or, email mollie.bryde@ bssocialcare.co.uk
