Assistant Residential Support Worker - Children & Young People
Salary: £25,922 - £28,624 (pro rata for 25 hours per week)
Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week
Do you have a passion for helping young people thrive, even in the most challenging circumstances?
If you're resilient, caring, and ready to be a consistent, positive presence in a child's life, this could be the role for you.
We're looking for compassionate and committed individuals to join our residential care team as Assistant Support Workers. You'll play a vital role in supporting children and young people within a safe, structured, and nurturing environment-helping them overcome adversity and build brighter futures.
Your Impactful Role Includes:
Being a trusted, steady advocate for the young people in your care.
Supporting young people through everyday challenges and encouraging positive outcomes.
Engaging with children who may display complex or challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism.
Implementing care plans and behaviour strategies with consistency and compassion.
Safeguarding children's welfare at all times and ensuring their voices are heard.
Working collaboratively with families and professionals to support each young person's journey.
What We're Looking For:
You're either qualified (or willing to train) to Level 3 in Children & Young People, Health & Social Care, or equivalent.
You bring emotional resilience, patience, and a deep respect for every young person's experience.
You communicate clearly and respectfully-with children, colleagues, and professionals alike.
You're reliable, flexible, and understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality and safety.
What You'll Gain:
A meaningful role where your work has a direct and lasting impact.
A competitive salary of £25,922 - £28,624 (pro rata for 25 hrs/week).
Comprehensive training in safeguarding, health & safety, and MAPA (Managing Actual or Potential Aggression).
Ongoing professional development and growth opportunities.
A supportive, inclusive team that values your input and wellbeing.
This role requires an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
If you're ready to support, guide, and empower young lives-and grow professionally while you do-it's time to join a team that truly makes a difference.
Apply now and be the difference that matters.
